La película de género fantástico dirigida por Martin Scorsese, Hugo, se convirtió este martes en la gran favorita para llevarse el Oscar de la Academia de Hollywood tras conseguir el máximo de nominaciones: 11 en total; mientras que la cinta francesa The Artist con 10 candidaturas y Moneyball con 6 se postulan como principales rivales.

George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Scorsese, Woody Allen, Glenn Close y Meryl Streep son algunos de los nominados a llevarse la estatuilla en ala 84º edición de los premios Oscar, cuya entrega se realizará el 26 de febrero en el Teatro Kodak de Los Ángeles.
Por su parte, la franco-argentina Berenice Bejo también quedó seleccionada entre las actrices secundarias nominadas por su labor en el laureado film The Artist.
