Al menos 35 muertos en una estampida durante el funeral de Soleimani

Una estampida en medio de los funerales del general iraní Qassem Soleimani dejó un saldo de al menos 35 muertos y 50 heridos en la ciudad de Kerman, en la previa del entierro del poderoso militar asesinado durante un ataque del Ejército estadounidense en Irak.

En medio del multitudinario cortejo fúnebre que acompaña a los restos del fallecido líder de la Fuerza Quds persa se produjo el trágico hecho, a la altura de Kerman, 500 kilómetros al sudeste de Teherán.

Según los primeros reportes, al menos 35 personas murieron y cerca de 50 terminaron con heridas de distinta consideración.

El propio asesinato de Soleimani había terminado con 8 víctimas fatales, tras la orden de Donald Trump de atacar.

La estampida se produjo en Kerman, la ciudad natal de Soleimani, en el marco del tercer día de duelo por la muerte del poderoso general iraní, quien murió el pasado viernes como consecuencia de un bombardeo del Ejército de Estados Unidos en el Aeropuerto iraquí de Bagdad.

El pasado lunes Teherán había registrado la afluencia de más de un millón de personas en la caravana que acompañaba el cuerpo del fallecido líder de la Fuerza Quds.
