Durante el fin de semana varios sindicatos y asociaciones de Hollywood siguieron entregando sus preciados galardones a lo mejor del cine y la TV. Mad Max: Furia en el Camino (Mad Max: Fury Road, 2015) fue la gran premiada en maquillaje, mientras que El Renacido (The Revenant, 2015) hizo lo propio en categorías sonoras.
Por otra parte, La Gran Apuesta (The Big Short, 2015) se sigue arrimando al Oscar gracias a su guión adaptado de no para de recoger recompensas.
